A decade immersed in institutional private markets revealed a persistent pattern: exceptional opportunities separated from capital not by merit, but by layers of unnecessary intermediaries. At Stifel's highest-revenue team, managing strategies for institutions and family offices with combined assets exceeding $5 billion, Taylor witnessed firsthand how gatekeepers created distance where direct pathways should exist.
Even the most sophisticated investors—armed with capital, intent, and urgency—found themselves navigating baroque processes to access what should have been straightforward.

Taylor's experience spans the complete investment lifecycle. At Velocity Clearing, he built the private markets platform from inception, orchestrating institutional fundraising and syndicating transactions across premier deal networks. While with Martin Shafiroff's Elite Advisory Team he managed due diligence & the deployment of capital for significant fund commitments while maintaining direct relationships with 50+ GP's nationally & internationally across Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Secondary Markets. Earlier positions at Teocalli Energy Group, Oppenheimer and ACG deepened his understanding of how capital moves—and more importantly, where it gets stuck.

Taylor is passionate about skiing, a result of 4 generations of his families involvement in the sport at its highest levels. He is an avid long distance runner & recently completed the NYC Marathon.
